Lanett High School standout and Alabama commit Kristian Story has been named Mr. Football.
Mr. Football in Alabama for 2019 is Lanett's Kristian Story. He is an Alabama commit who played QB and DB for Lanett.

He led Lanett to a win over Mars Hill in the Class 1A state title game. He is a fantastic player.
Story is listed as an ATH and is expected to end up in the defensive backfield, but he reportedly wants to be given a chance to play quarterback as well. He took the snaps at Lanett in 2019 and was also named the state’s offensive back of the year after breaking the state record for total offense.
Story has prototypical size and athleticism for a Saban defensive back, and that’s probably where his NFL future lies. The main question will be the jump in competition from small classification high school ball to the SEC, but physically he looks ready to play.
Congratulations to him on this prestigious award.
Roll Tide.
