According to Brett Hudson at TideSports, junior OL Scott Lashley has decided to enter the transfer portal.
A former four-star recruit from West Point, MS, Lashley showed flashes and was mentioned as a candidate to start multiple times, but it never came to pass for him. As a graduate, the 6’7” 300-pounder will be eligible to play immediately at the school of his choice.
As we noted earlier in the week, there is going to be some necessary attrition in order to accommodate the 2020 recruiting class that according to Saban is not yet complete. This is the first shoe to drop.
Best of luck, Mr. Lashley.
Roll Tide.
