When Joe Moorhead was initially fired by Mississippi State, Alabama OC Steve Sarkisian was mentioned as a candidate for the job, albeit something of a longshot. Now, after Billy Napier turned down an interview and Joe Judge, who had reportedly agreed to terms only to have the New York Giants swoop in and steal him away, Sarkisian may be the guy.
There is some real interest on both sides between Alabama offensive coordinator Steve Sarkisian and Mississippi State. It’s something to keep an eye on.

Starkville seems like a strange place for Sark to get back into head coaching. Besides being an odd cultural fit, he isn’t going to be able to attract the type of offensive talent he’s accustomed to having at his disposal, though the Sark Vegas puns would be obvious. Somebody has probably already designed that T-shirt.
Stay tuned, we’ll keep you updated.
