Despite the Mississippi State defense holding tight a few times, Alabama still scored 27 points- 21 coming from wide receiver Devonta Smith. The senior absolutely toasted some defensive backs on deep shots and broke some poor saps ankles for a slant route touchdown at the end of the half.

Meanwhile, the Alabama defense is looking like 2011 all over again, barely allowing nary a first down all half. The defensive line has been getting pressure all night even in 3 man rushes and the defensive backs contested every pass.

Here's to no injuries in the second half. Roll Tide!
