Despite a couple of shaky defensive drive from the Alabama defense, the Tide held the Wildcats to only 3 first half points as Kentucky special teams self-sabotaged. After that, the Alabama defense held on the last few drives of the half.

Mac Jones had some spectacular throws to Jahleel Billingsley (who played all half in relief of Miller Forristall) and Devonta Smith, and Najee Harris had a 42 yard touchdown, which was the longest run of his career.

On to the second half. Roll Tide!
