Alabama Number One in First CFP Rankings

Three SEC teams in the NY6

The College Football Playoff Committee put their heads together and once again got the top four right. No ridiculous inclusions like BYU. No team du jour like Northwestern. It’s probably the best six, though Ohio State doesn’t really have the body of work to prove their worthiness just yet. The Alabama Crimson Tide is at the top, followed by a pair of ACC teams who are on a collision course for a conference title rematch. The Cincinnati Bearcats are a little too high in my opinion. Wins over SMU and Army? Really? What do you think?
