Wake Up! College Football Gameday Open Thread

It’s the last week before conference championships. Can you believe we’re already here?

We should be finished up with the SEC Championship right now and getting ready for Early Signing Day. Instead, due to external circumstances, Alabama is taking on the Arkansas Razorbacks in the final game of the season just two weeks before Christmas.

I’m cool with it.

CB969 continues to absolutely kill it in his weekly picks, and is now ranked 7th out of 350 national sportswriters. ESPN should hire the man.

In terms of the lineup for today, Alabama and Arkansas will kick off your morning at 11:00, with Missouri and Georgia going on at the same time. The afternoon slate is a bit lackluster, so I guess North Carolina and Miami might be the best one. Use that time to take the dog for a walk or something.

Things speed back up in the evening, though, as you get a chance to see Florida hang 70 points on LSU when Dan Mullen doesn’t go into kill-clock mode after halftime like Nick Saban did. Don’t sleep on App State and Georgia Southern either. Finally, Auburn and Mississippi State could be a highly entertaining battle of inept offenses for the title of #1 cow college.
