NSFW: It’s Meltdown Time! Florida threw a shoe edition

With the season winding down, I didn’t expect there to be much material for a meltdown this week, but college football rarely disappoints and you are thus #blessed with a special edition. If you didn’t see last night’s game between LSU and Florida, you missed quite the show.

• Florida coach Dan Mullen decided to hold out his best player, slightly nicked up TE Kyle Pitts, for precautionary reasons. That bit him.
• Florida turned the ball over three times in the first half, including this unbelievable interception:

• A thick fog descended on the field in the second half, requiring ESPN to use some odd but cool camera angles to show the game.

As you might imagine, the fanbase of a Florida team that came into the game favored by three touchdowns, and still holding on to playoff dreams, did not take well to a defeat in such shocking fashion.
