Where Alabama football Class of 2021 recruits are from

The Tide rolled on Early Signing Day

Alabama entered the Early Signing Period with 22 commitments. Alabama ended the first day with 24 signees, keeping all of their original commits and flipping two from LSU. The ESP isn’t over yet, of course; but I don’t think Alabama is expected to add any more signees before National Signing Day. If they do, I’ll update the map.

Before we dive into the numbers and the map, let me explain some decisions. For the two IMG Academy signees, I’m listing them both for Florida. Jacorey Brooks is from Florida anyway. JC Latham is originally from Wisconsin but has spent the past two years at IMG. If you want to count him as Wisconsin, that’s fine; but for this map, he’s in Florida. And for the one JUCO signee, Khyree Jackson, I listed his home state (Maryland) rather than where the JUCO is (Mississippi).

That out of the way, let’s move on.

The class is currently #1 in the nation in both points and average recruit ranking; and unsurprisingly, Nick Saban and company plucked players from around the country with the majority coming from the southeast. Alabama has signees from 10 different states already (8 last year).

You can check out the interactive map here.
