Wake Up! College Football Conference Championship Weekend is Upon Us

The SEC and ACC championships are the headliners... And there are a bunch of random make-up games.

This is it, folks. The moment we’ve all been... waiting for? I guess?

The Big 10 game is a bit of a joke, as they barely even played any bit of a season at all and then just gave it to the Buckeyes. The Big 12 matchup between Oklahoma and the raging hot Iowa State should be a fun one, though. Even if it’s unlikely to put either team into the playofffs.

Clemson and Notre Dame is the big #2 vs #3 rematch that will totally alter the playoff picture no matter which way it goes. Alabama and Florida likely won’t have much of an effect on the playoffs even if Alabama loses, but this game is probably going to be what decides the Heisman Trophy, with Kyle Trask, Mac Jones, and DeVonta Smith all playing.

Meanwhile, the SEC and a few others are getting in some makeup games. Ole Miss and LSU is probably going to feature some shenanigans of some sort, and the Aggies will be looking to get as many style points as they can on Tennessee.

And don’t forget about Cincinnati and Tulsa in the AAC championship. That’s going to be a good football game.
