It wasn’t clear whether Alabama would have a running back in this year’s class after stacking the position out over the past couple of cycles, but Nick Saban and company have pulled in another top weapon in Garland, TX product Camar Wheaton.
Toughest decision of my life and I was torn and I was completely unsure of which school to attend. Thanks to all my coaches, family, friends, teachers and LC administration. #RollTide @saincilaire @CoachKOMiller @LCHS_Patriots @coachdwes @MikeRoyce @Hayesfawcett3 pic.twitter.com/cpG2NvawG6

Wheaton is listed at 5’11”, 190 lb. and is projected to play in college at above 200. His high school tape is as impressive as you’d expect for such a highly rated prospect, combining plenty of speed an agility with elite vision and the power to run through arm tackles. He will slot in nicely for the next few seasons. Jeff Banks and Charles Huff took the lead on Wheaton. Banks continues to dominate in the Lone Star State.
Welcome, Camar!
