Alabama at Ole Miss Game Thread

Alabama Crimson Tide (14-12, 6-7 SEC) at Ole Miss Rebels (13-13, 4-9 SEC)

NCAA Basketball: Texas A&M at Alabama Marvin Gentry-USA TODAY Sports

With just five games left in the regular season, the Crimson Tide is officially on life support for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament. Alabama will have to win at least four of the final five games to finish out the season, and then will probably have to make a statement in Nashville as well.

More importantly though, this team just needs to improve. Alabama has a roster of talented, but flawed, players. They each have obvious areas of improvement that can make each of them a much better player than they currently are. Nate Oats has already officially tabled any talks about the NCAA Tournament for this exact reason. Alabama has five games left to get better as a team and as individuals; it’s time to take advantage of this opportunity.

First up in that stretch is Ole Miss. The Crimson Tide has had its fair share of struggles in Oxford over the last decade, as the last ‘Bama win came in 2009, well before the beautiful, new Pavilion was built in 2016. Let’s see how much fight this team has left in them.

The game tips at 7:30 PM CST and will be televised on the SEC Network.
