Alabama Softball Opening Day vs FSU, UNC

The 2020 Crimson Tide starts off the season against the Seminoles and Tar Heels

Team24 starts off the season in Tallahassee, FL. They will face some stiff competition in a pair of doubleheaders against Florida State and North Carolina.

The #8/9 Seminoles (55-10) were the 2018 WCWS champs and the No. 4 seed this past post-season. FSU was voted to win the ACC and placed five players on the Preseason All-ACC Team. Sydney Sherrill led the Noles hitting at .405, 16 HR, 60 RBI. Right behind her was Dani Morgan at .377, 14, 58. Bama should be familiar with Caylan Arnold. The pitching ace transferred from Tennessee after three seasons with the Vols.

North Carolina went 38-20 and lost to the Vols in the Knoxville Regional last season but not before forcing an extra game. The Heels are led by All-ACC OF Kristina Burkhardt (.304, 39 R, 39 RBI, 19 SB) and All-ACC pitcher Brittany Pickett (23-14, 2.02 ERA, 228 K).
