The final week of the regular season is upon us, as the calendar has flipped over to March. Will Alabama be able to finish out strongly and earn a bid to participate in the Madness that comes with the NCAA Tournament? It’s not looking great right now, but any hope for an at-large berth would be completely gone if the Tide were to suffer a loss to the lowly Commodores tonight.
So, if Alabama wants to keep its small chance of getting into the Big Dance alive, Nate Oats’ squad has to take care of business tonight. John Petty won’t be able to go, so an expanded role could be in play for James ‘Beetle’ Bolden tonight after the pregame Senior Day festivities.
I do want to, again, bring awareness to the devastating tornado that affected many of our Vanderbilt brethren last night. The Nashville community needs our help right now. I’ve attached a link, here, that details a number of ways you can donate or volunteer to help. If you have any other sources, please share them in the comments.
It’s a can’t-lose game for the Tide on Senior Night. Alabama opened as a 13.5-point favorite, but that didn’t do much for the Tide a few weeks back when A&M came into town. The game tips at 7:30 PM CST and will be televised on the SEC Network.
