Let the draft jockeying begin.

Great news for Tua Tagovailoa today.

From Laura Rutledge of ESPN:

Tagovailoa will train in Nashville and will start throwing, running, rolling out and doing dropbacks this week once he gets settled in the city, which is still recovering from devastating tornadoes last week.

He has a pro day on April 9, where he will throw for NFL teams. Sources said Tagovailoa will take a conservative approach to the pro day but will definitely drop back and throw.

Needless to say, this is about as positive as it gets. He obviously isn’t going to be hitting the ground any time soon, but if the joint has healed sufficiently that the doctors feel good about him rolling out and throwing, he’s well on his way to contributing for some NFL team in 2020. Teams will now have ample opportunity to evaluate him before the draft on April 23.

Rol Tide, Tua.
