LOOK: Former Tide stars participate in rally cap challenge for COVID-19 relief

DraftKings has come up with a cool way for us to rally against COVID-19 together, with their #DKRally pledge. Here’s how it works:

For every person who shares their rally cap on social media with the #DKRally hashtag, DraftKings will donate $1 to the United Way’s coronavirus relief efforts until we reach a $1 million goal. The money will help United Way across a range of needs from food banks to medical services to unemployment support.

The rally starts on Monday March 23rd and runs through Tuesday April 7th.

So, how can you participate?

Take a picture or video in your rally cap (be creative!)

Post to Twitter, Facebook or Instagram (or all if you want!)

Use the hashtag #DKRally

Tag at least 3 friends and invite them to do the same.

To give you some idea of what a rally cap looks like and also have a little fun, our own Roger Myers reached out to some of his many friends who happen to be former Alabama athletes and asked for a properly social distanced rally cap photo. The response was outstanding. Check it out:

We lead off with former Tide OF Chandler Taylor, who is playing in the Houston Astros system and really knows how to rally cap. This thing is good for at least three ninth-inning runs.
