Anfernee Jennings drafted #87 overall by the New England Patriots

Anfernee Jennings mildly surprised by going in the third round, #87 overall to the New England Patriots.

Jennings had some injury concerns at Alabama, particularly at the end of the 2017 season when he suffered a gruesome knee injury late in a game after almost singlehandedly dominating Clemson in the national semifinals. Nothing about him jumps off the page athletically, but he is as solid a strong-side end as you will find in college football.

Jennings is smart, strong, and has outstanding footwork and hands. He will undoubtedly be used correctly by Bill Belichick and company, as just their kind of player. Expect to see him in the playoffs very soon.
