Roll Bama Roll Staff Pick ‘em/Early Games Open Thread

Along with Erik’s usual gameday thread, we’re also including a piece with a nice little graphic that shows our staff’s picks for all of the SEC games. If you’ve ever wondered which of the RBR writers was the smartest, now you’ll have the chance to find out.

For the most part, this week 1 of SEC play is a pretty straightforward week of picks. Josh did pick the Kentucky upset over Auburn (and personally, I objectively agree with him. However, Auburn has literally never lost a single game in my lifetime when I predicted them to lose, so I’m trying to reverse psychology it. I’ll take the hit if it means an Auburn loss). Josh and I also both picked South Carolina to take down Tennessee.

While the Vols are a more talented, more experienced team and should absolutely be the clear favorite, I just think they’ve had way too much hype (as always) this offseason, and its going to crash down on them a bit.
