COMMIT: Alabama Gets Their Tight End

The Crimson Tide fills a position of need.

Alabama has long been searching for a tight end for this class and finally got their answer Tuesday in Robbie Ouzts (ryhmes with “boots”) from Rock Hill, SC outside of Charlotte, NC. He is 6’4” and 240 lbs. He is a very good athlete who also stars on his basketball team and PUNTS TOO!

Ouzts picked Alabama over Virginia Tech with South Carolina and UNC also in consideration. Charles Kelly was the primary recruiter with help from Jeff Banks. Ouzts is likely the only tight end that Bama will sign for the Class of 2021. However, 2020 commit Caden Clark is taking a greyshirt this fall as he recovers from an injury and will enroll in January.

As you can see from Ouzts’s highlight reel, he has a nasty streak in him and does not shy away from contact.

Ouzts is the 21st commit to the Crimson Tide Class of 2021. Alabama may have only five openings remaining.
