Top JUCO Prospect Commits to Tide Hoops

Just another elite player coming to Tuscaloosa

Another day, another major recruiting win for Nate Oats and his staff in Tuscaloosa. The latest in-line to join the 2022 class is 6’9 big man, Nick Pringle. Pringle is the #2 JUCO prospect in the country, hailing from South Carolina by way of Dodge City Community College in Kansas. Listed at 220 pounds, Pringle is a more traditional post player - built similarly to Charles Bediako - but like Bediako, he can run the floor and defend multiple positions if needed.

Pringle originally committed to Wofford in the 2020 class, appearing in 15 games for the Terriers. He shot 59% from the floor and rebounded at a 20.9% clip, albeit in limited minutes. He chose Alabama over fellow finalists Ole Miss, West Virginia, Wichita State, and Georgia.

Pringle joins an already-loaded 2022 recruiting class for Alabama, which includes five-stars Jaden Bradley and Brandon Miller, as well as four-star big, Noah Clowney. The class is currently a top-ten group, and it is shaping up to be the best in Tide Hoops’ history. Nate Oats, Bryan Hodgson, and Antoine Pettway continue to absolutely dominate on the recruiting trail. All four of these players will be significant contributors for the Tide in their careers at Alabama.

As I mentioned the other day, we are living in the Good Times right now, y’all. Enjoy it.
