Every Alabama fan knows the story of Ben Davis. He came in five years ago from Gordo, AL as a legacy and the #1 ranked ILB prospect in the nation, took a redshirt year and then for whatever reason just never got much of a chance on the field the rest of his career. Like all players, the fifth-year senior and former five-star was granted an additional year by the NCAA thanks to the pandemic, and he has decided to take advantage. It won’t be in Tuscaloosa, however.

Say what you will about Ben, he stuck around for five years when many wouldn’t have. He has enjoyed plenty of team success in his career, including two national titles. May he now find a bit of the individual variety in his final season. Who knows? Maybe he can work himself into a late round draft pick.
Best of luck, Ben.
Roll Tide.
