According to Matt Zenitz, Alabama LB Ale Kaho is moving on.
Have learned that Alabama linebacker Ale Kaho has entered the transfer portal

Kaho, a five-star recruit in the 2018 cycle on the Top 247, has been a standout on special teams and carved a role at fullback in goal line, but has never been able to crack the rotation at linebacker. It was assumed that he would be in the mix to fill the hole left by Dylan Moses next to rising star Christian Harris in 2021, but there is plenty of competition at the position.
It is well known that Alabama has been in contact with Tennessee transfer Henry To’oto’o, with the SEC’s rule against intraconference transfers being the only obstacle. We don’t have any reason to believe that Kaho’s decision is related to Henry in any way, but it’s worth keeping an eye on.
Kaho is from Washington and my guess is that he heads back west. Best of luck to him.
Roll Tide.
UPDATE: Kaho’s thoughtful farewell to Alabama.
