Help Kerry Goode’s family take him on vacation after long battle with ALS

Many could use one, but nobody deserves it more than him.

Former Alabama running back Kerry Goode, the 1983 SEC Freshman of the Year who gained 1572 yards and scored 7 TDs in Tuscaloosa before embarking on a four year NFL career, was diagnosed with the dreaded Lou Gehrig’s disease (ALS) in 2015. Since then, he has battled valiantly as this awful disease slowly ate away at his quality of life. Now, a close friend is trying to help him raise the money for the smallest of requests: a beach vacation.

Here is the link and the information:

Kerry Goode is a dear friend and inspiration with his courageous battle with ALS. We want to get him and his family a much needed beach vacation the first week of April. No one deserves it more! I realize time is limited so please donate quickly. Thanks so much, God is Goode!

We know that many out there have suffered, but if you have something to spare, consider giving it to Kerry. There is no better Alabama football family than the Goodes.

Godspeed, Kerry.
