From rolltide.com:
Alabama was led by sophomore Luisa Blanco, who won the all-around with a 39.800, and Lexi Graber, who posted a 39.575 to take third in the all-around. Blanco also won a share of the vault, uneven bars, and balance beam. She also shared the bars title with freshman Shania Adams and sophomore Makarri Doggette and the beam title with Graber.
The Tide put up an outstanding 197.875 score and needed every bit of it to stave off a furious rally by LSU, who came up a mere tenth of a point short. The 8th-ranked Tide have come on strong of late, breaking 197 in each of the past five meets. Saturday’s score was the highest of the season, which bodes well for a run at a national title. They seem to be peaking at the right time.
