Summertime 2021 brings with it a ray of hope of a return to normalcy. June 1 represents a long-awaited end to the protracted college football recruiting Dead Period that was imposed way back in March 2020. Not that Nick Saban and company struggled with the situation, but he and his colleagues are glad to get back to more face-to-face interactions.

The first sign of summer is the Nick Saban camps. They are a way to get croots on campus for up-close looks at their abilities and how they take to coaching. Some of these prospects can make or break their opportunities to sign with Alabama during their time at these one-day camps. They are not exclusive to just rising seniors.

The Crimson Tide has ten forthcoming camps:

  • 06/02/21 High School Camp 1
  • 06/05/21 High School Camp 2
  • 06/07/21 High School Camp 3
  • 06/09/21 High School Camp 4
  • 06/12/21 Kicking Camp
  • 06/14/21 High School Camp 5
  • 06/19/21 OL/DL Camp *
  • 06/21/21 High School Camp 6
  • 06/23/21 High School Camp 7
  • 06/26/21 High School Camp 8

* The OL/DL Camp has proved to be one of the most valuable camps for Alabama. Thus, UA has one that exclusively features best-on-best linemen matchups.

For recruiting purposes, camping is considered an unofficial visit. June also bring the return of official visits.
