Alabama is one win away from advancing to the super regional round of the 2021 NCAA tournament. Only the Clemson Tigers stand in the way, and they must beat Alabama twice today at Rhoads Stadium in order to advance. Clemson will most assuredly start ace Victoria Cagle again, but she has to be getting somewhat weary after throwing some 12 innings over the past two days. One would have to assume that Tide coach Patrick Murphy will counter with his own ace in Montana Fouts, who dominated the Clemson hitters to the tune of 16 strikeouts in yesterday’s complete game shutout.

Should someone else need to step in, Alabama has a sizable advantage in pitching depth. Hopefully we see something of a repeat of yesterday’s action. Tune in to support the ladies and join in the conversation below.

First pitch is at 1pm CT and it will be televised on ESPN2.

Roll Tide.
