Unless you have been living under a rock, you know that Texas and Oklahoma have agreed to join the SEC starting in the 2025 season, and in reality will probably join much sooner. As SEC Shorts eloquently depicts: this leaves the other Big 12 schools as cast-offs. Enjoy.
The bit about Crackle is hilarious, as is the Larry Scott leadership conference in Amarillo. Given the news of the supposed alliance between the ACC, Big 10 and Pac 12, there would seem to be little chance of survival for the Big 12 as a power football league. Commissioner Bob Bowlsby will undoubtedly stay in touch with Pac 12 leadership, but that ship seems to have sailed. The schools left behind will likely choose between staying together and adding some regional Group of Five schools to form a lower tier league or dissolving altogether and going their separate ways.
In any case, Josh Snead and team capture the situation perfectly, as usual.
Roll Tide.
