Happy Gump Day, everyone. This one is going to be rather brief.
In case you missed it, Jordan Battle raised some eyebrows when asked about his favorite Sabanism.
Hilarious, but I was told that Saban never had any fun and didn’t let his players have any, either.
Folks are quite interested in the progress of Alabama’s running backs.
Alabama coaches might want a little more lightning sprinkled in with the thunder Robinson can bring.
And the veteran running back gets it.
“He wants me to work on avoiding tackles,” Robinson said. “Not being as physical all the time, but sometimes if I can avoid tackles or make people miss…I should work on trying to make people miss instead of always being so physical and taking so many hits all the time. That’s something I can work on to be more effective in the open field, making people miss.”
“I think they’ve done well,” Saban said in his Monday ZOOM meeting with reporters. “I think we missed a couple reads in the game, could have had much more positive plays, cut some things back when we shouldn’t have, didn’t hit it downhill when we should’ve but I think these are the things that I’m talking about that are good learning experiences for these guys. Jase played really well in the game, Trey and Roydell are both getting more and more experience so I’m kind of pleased with the way those guys are coming along.”
Najee Harris was the #2 overall prospect in his class for a reason, folks. The man was a superstar. Alabama’s RBs are in the same place as the QB and WRs: all excellent college football players trying to follow the most difficult act in college football history.
Last, Florida DE Brenton Cox decided to make a statement.
'We're ready, of course. The big question is are they ready?' #Gators pass rusher Brenton Cox Jr. on Alabama.

Everyone always wants to talk trash to Alabama before the game, and why not? If Alabama smacks you around as they usually do, you were just exuding confidence. If you happen to hit the lottery and pull the upset, you get praised for calling your shot. I have a feeling this one is going to work out the same way most have.
That’s about it for now. Have a great day.
Roll Tide.
