Top ranked point guard commits to Alabama

Nate Oats has landed a gem in the 2022 class.

No, you are not experiencing deja vu. For the second class in a row, Nate Oats has landed one of the top point guards in the country, as Jaden Bradley of IMG Academy has committed to the Crimson Tide. The 6’3 point guard is a consensus five-star recruit, and is even listed as the top prospect at the position for the 2022 class according to ESPN. He is a legitimate two-way point that is expected to be a first round pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. Bradley chose Alabama over the likes of Arizona, Kentucky, Florida State, and Gonzaga.

This is another major coup for Oats and his staff. With Jahvon Quinerly and this year’s elite freshman point guard, J.D. Davison, both likely to move on from the college level after this upcoming season, Oats is ensuring that the Tide will not have any issues finding a replacement primary ball-handler and play-maker for the 2022-2023 season.

Bradley is truly a do-it-all, complete point guard. Many have compared his game to a young Chris Paul, because he can shoot, distribute, run the offense, handle the rock, and play high-level defense on the other end. Check out some of his highlights below:

Additionally, Bradley is teammates and close friends with Jarace Walker, a five-star wing/big that is actually visiting Tuscaloosa this weekend. There have been many murmurs that these two were going to be a package deal. And let me tell you, Walker is an absolute beast.

In case there was any doubt, Nate Oats and Tide Hoops aren’t going anywhere, any time soon.
