Wendell Hudson is renowned as the University of Alabama's first black scholarship athlete but that's one of his many achievements. My biographical article on Hudson is now up over at the Encyclopedia of Alabama.

It's Nick Saban with a crystal football riding an elephant. That's fine craftsmanship. Unfortunately, the bride is a Florida grad and the inside of the cake is blue and orange. But hopefully, they would never cut into such a fine work of art.
